Precision Time Synchronization & Frequency Translation
From GNSS and 1 PPS synchronization through holdover, clock generation and frequency translation.
Connor-Winfield timing solutions convert precision time and frequency references into stable, low-noise clock outputs. Choose integrated GNSS timing, external 1 PPS time-to-frequency conversion, high-stability OCXO-based synchronization, or clock-to-clock frequency translation and jitter attenuation.

Start With the Reference Available in Your System
GNSS → 1 PPS + PRECISION TIMING
I Need to Generate a 1 PPS Reference
Select this solution if your system lacks a GNSS timing receiver. Our integrated modules receive satellite timing to generate a 1 PPS timing reference and disciplined frequency outputs via local precision oscillators.

Build Synchronization Into Your Own Timing Architecture
For customers developing their own timing subsystem, the NS3D02 combines an external 1 PPS timing reference with a stable local master clock (MCLK). A precision TCXO or OCXO can provide the MCLK timebase used for synchronization and holdover, while the NS3D02’s numerical and analog PLL architecture controls an external VCXO to generate a low-jitter synchronized frequency output. The device also provides regenerated 1 PPS timing outputs.

Dual 1 PPS Inputs
Primary and secondary timing reference capability
Programmable Discipline
Control of synchronization response and bandwidth
Precision Holdover
External TCXO or OCXO maintains timing when PPS is unavailable
Low-Jitter Outputs
Architecture separates synchronization functions from the precision oscillator
Frequency Translation & Jitter Attenuation
Once a precision reference is established, Connor-Winfield frequency translation and clock-conditioning products can generate the clock frequencies required by the system while preserving low-jitter performance.
